I love this series. I have finished reading this series last July and when Cal was release I did read them again and decided to give my thoughts in this book.
We have met Sal and Kat. Sal is an MC brother of Cole and Kat is Scarlet’s best friend. We all know that there is something going on between these two but it seems that Sal is kinda hot and cold towards Kat, however she has fell for him and what I love most in her character is that she is no push over. She is bad ass and easy going. But in this book the story goes way deeper.
It all started when Sal walking out leaving Kat without even turning a glance and not knowing if he will return. Now, 6 months later he returns and wants Kat back. But Kat has been hurt when he left and she this time decided not to be in that situation again.
The feelings are actually mutual, but Sal has some baggage. He knows that he cannot fully commit to Kat when he cannot even find answers and closure to himself. That was the reason he left in the first place. And now that he knows he is capable of loving Kat he wants her again. But Kat has been hurt and she doesn’t think she will survive if he will leave her again.
When Kat’s family problem gets into her, Sal was there and now he is determined to be there for her. To gain her trust and love again. As both of them together with their friends tackle this situation, Kat realizes how much Sal has changed and she fell for him more. And as Sal and Kat work on their relationship we learn more about their pasts and this gives insight as to why Sal left.
This books is really a great read. Never disappoint me. I haven’t really read more MC books but I definitely like to read MC books or bikers that are possessive, alpha, tough but when it comes to someone they care, they are caring, loving and considerate. And Sal fits the bill.
