Benjamin “Bishop” Malloy is the youngest in Malloy brothers and a sergeant-at-arms in Hell’s Raider MC. Although he grew up in the MC world, he got ambitions. He got goals that he wants to have something that he achieve himself. He took his GED and apprenticing as a mechanic hoping to have his own motorcycle shop someday.
Samantha Vargas is an ATF agent. After witnessing the murder of her father, she hates bikes. Together with her partner, they went undercover and trying to get some info about this gun trafficking of Hell’s Raiders to Rodriguez cartel.
What started as undercover, Sam realized that this club is not what she expected and Bishop is not a biker what she thought he was. An incident with the MC killed her partner. And it pushes her more to get into deep the MC to get justice of his death. The line between her being undercover and her feelings towards Bishop went blurry as she uncover the real Bishop. When everything just getting better between the two of them and the club going legal, the club were framed of gun trafficking and what Sam was keeping a secret is all in the open.
At first when I read the synopsis of this book, I am hesitant but at the same time eager to read how this story will turn out. Sam lied to Bishop, his family and club family. Though she wasn’t the reason why the club officers went to jail, at the same time, I find it her fault for keeping it a secret to Bishop and to her boss. But I love it how Sam redeemed herself. What she did to get them out of jail and prove that the club is innocent and that they were framed.
Reading the ending of this series and knowing how everyone was doing is really sweet. This Vicious Cycle series is definitely a good read.
