Cal and Jill met when Jill moved to Nevada to start a new life after a disastrous marriage. Jill is a good friend with Sophie when they were still in Texas. And now Jill is trying to stand in her shoes, build a life, raising her son Mason. Being friends with Sophie, she became friends with rest of girls – Scarlet, Kat, Connie & Ettie.
Cal is the President of Knights MC. He set an eye on Jill since he met her but knows that she is still married and still have this ongoing divorce.
Jill knew they have this connection with Cal but she doesn’t want to acknowledge it. She is just trying to start living and she believed that she needs to have a control of herself. She needs to find her old self who is independent and strong. But Cal is done waiting. He is claiming he knows what is his since he saw her.
This is my favorite book in the series. I thought I love Axel, I love this book MORE! Cal is such an alpha but a gentleman at the same time. He respects Jill and waited for her. Give her time to get used to having Cal and not being alone. When she got a text from her ex, Cal was there and in full alpha mode.
What I love Cal the most is how he is with the kids. Not just Jill son, Mason but also with her nephew and niece. He supported Jill’s decision to save the kids and even love them as his own.
I cannot wait to read the second generation of Knight MC!
I highly recommend this series. Such as sweet read with tough, bad ass alpha bikers!
