Levi Brooks is an Engineer and a single father of an autistic child.
He thinks that he can’t have a normal relationship, with his son that will need him almost 24/7, especially when he is having tantrums.
When they accidentally met during the wedding and reconnect with one another they find that their attraction had grown stronger over time. But Levi has some responsibilities. His son is his priority.
For months, they have been seeing each other when they can and they don’t even have time for sleep over.Jillian, feels like there 2-persona of Levi. Levi the father & Levi the lover. Jillian wants to be closer to him and his son. Wants to in their family and Levi wants the same. But Levi has some concerns. What-ifs. What if Jillian cannot take his son and will leave them? He feels like, he doesn’t deserve Jillian because he won’t be able to give her what she truly deserves. Never did he know, that Jillian just wants him to be himself. And be open about his family.
Eventually, Levi pulls his head out of where it is and realizes what he will loose the ONE when he will not do the right thing for both of them and that is to involve his son in their relationship.
This book is amazingly sweet & hot & humorous. I really like it that all their family is involved. There is no angst or any any crazy complications but just mild tension to keep me interested.
